I am in the shopping stage. I am very interested in a Prius, but am wondering if the 2008 will be much different then the 2007. I will take me a few months to get into the right financial mode to purchace a new car, and I want to know if I shoud wait for the new model.
The rumor-mill says the model year 2009, likely to be available in the final months of 2008, will be radically different and improved. AFAIK, Toyota has made no official announcement.

As already mentioned by people more informed then I, my dealer stated there should not be any changes from the 07 to the 08....aside from perhaps different packages. This being said if your seriously interested...definitely look to pull the trigger prior to the tax credit ending in October. Prior to your purchase be sure to peruse these boards extensively, as there is tremenedous information you will not likely get from anywhere else. My MPG listed below is a testament to the wonderful information available on here.
