No dipping, but I usually put Melinda's XXXtra Hot habanero sauce on it. I don't think dipping is very popular in my area; I've never seen anyone do it.

Dipping pizza? Isn't that like saying, "You know what Vivaldi's Four Seasons needs? A loud electric guitar!"
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Apr 27 2007, 11:21 PM) </div> Yes! Me too. And if you read the fine print on the label, it's not butter/margarine at all but made from soy.
I voted for "Dip pizza? That's just gross!" except that I don't think it's gross I just don't dip my pizza. I acctually have not tried it as far as I can remember, so I might try it if I remember this thread while eating pizza.
dang it... now i'm craving one of those cheesy bites pizzas... i love to dip the crust in marinara, but i'll eat the pizza as is, with maybe a little parmesan.
Mmmmmm....cheesy bites pizza....mmmmmmm. I love dipping the crust of a cheese stuffed crust pizza in marinara sauce - I think dipping cheese stuffed crust in ranch is just a bit rich. Now I'm getting hungry!
If the pizza has enough sauce on the crust already, then usually what I do is just sprinkle red pepper flakes on. If the pizza needs a little more something for flavor, I'll dip in ranch or marinara. Food HAS to have flavor or why bother!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Apr 27 2007, 10:43 PM) </div> Besides! Butter has NO carbs. Aint no atkins nut, but (besides 33 laps in the 25M pool) by avoiding the sugars in the breads, white rice, taters, and the like, it's way easy to maintain weight. We had 10 pizzas here at work, a couple days ago. Like most, I had two pieces. Ate just the super thick meaty topping (YUM), and tossed the two crusts. MAN! You'd of thought I just set the Pope on fire! We've had a number of parties, and I've never scrutinized how much our guests throw out. I guess next time we have a party, I ought to go balistic if guests throw out any of their food / don't clean their plates? . . . One guy told me, "I'd rather throw out a whole pizza than let you just eat the topping". . . . what's sooooo sacrid about tons of pizza dough?!? Maybe I should get new friends.
