The little triangular shaped window in the front A pillar has a vent running along the bottom. However, when I put the front defroster on, I don't feel any air coming from this vent. Does anyone know if this vent is supposed to blow air in defrost mode, or when it is active? Thanks - Marvin
It certainly works, but the airflow isn't much (and it doesn't need to be). Those triangle vents and the round side window vents both operate at the same time as the windscreen vent. According to the New Car Features document, window airflow is slight when FOOT is selected, medium when FOOT/DEFROST is selected, and most when DEFROST is selected. It's shut off when FACE or BILEVEL is selected.
It works when "feet only", "feet and windshield", and defrost airflow selections are made. Basically anytime the little round dash vent it working. Page 291 of the manual indicates this, although it doesn't specifically show the vent you speek of. But that's when it works.

Use a flathead screwdriver or something like that, pry out one edge and bring it upward. It's held in via plastic prongs. Very simple to take out and put back in. Be careful not to scratch the plastic.
