My '07 Prius is 5 weeks old and I've been waiting to buy the Extended Warranty from Troy. My questions about the 7 year/100,000 mile Platinum Warranty are: 1) Does the seven years begin at the end of the original 3 years standard warranty making it a total of 10 years ? If not you are buying coverage for 4 years . 2) Does the 100,000 miles begin after the original 36,000 mile stand warranty making the total covered miles 136,000 ? If not you're buying coverage for 64.000 miles. Thanks. Mo

Since I will put around 20,000+ miles on per year the warranty will expire in 5 years -- oh well! Guess it's still worth it! Maybe I'll be shopping for the Prius III before then anyway! Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the tip. I'll definitely do this! <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(jamarimutt @ Jul 30 2007, 06:38 PM) </div> Yes! You're right!
