In fact, I like Canada's immigration policy - you cannot just cross the border to pick crops. There are lots of things we can learn from Canada. I will go a step further - I was upset with the prior Canadian govt's as were my family - as they tried to create space between our two countries. It is ESSENTIAL we act as one.

I really do love Canada which is why I'm proud that 18% of our imported oil in 2006 came from Canada. Because, you know, socialized medicine can get expensive and we Americans are more than happy to help pick up the tab. Current company excluded because, well, we've already reduced our dependency on foriegn oil.
