More including lots of different design concepts at http://images.businessweek.com/ss/07/10/10...mpaign_id=msnbc Personally, I didn't care for most of the designs but they were certainly "furturistic" looking.
Do they think 2010 is like 50 years in the future? Geeze. Although I would drive one of those just to look different, if you think the Prius style gave it the smug "look at me I drive a hybrid" outlook, imagine driving one of those "Look at me I drive a hybrid which strangely looks like a computer mouse" I'd be curious in the history of automotive design what the most radically different previous generation of cars been from the newest marketable (i.e. ones that sold) generation.
Ever wonder why after seeing all these futuristic designs and all the auto manufacturers never build any of the designs and instead build something a lot more practical?
Oooooh! I like that low-slung 2-door model. Plus it looks like that body would drop right onto the existing Prius chassis. That body with the bigger wheels and they'd tap into a whole new buyer market.
