[/The picture of my battery turns light green on occasion. Seems to be no rhyme or reason. Does this happen to anyone else...I can't find any info in my manual.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(ywbird @ Oct 25 2007, 11:50 PM) </div> the color of the battery corresponds to the amount of charge it has. I'm sure someone here has a diagram with all the percent values and the colors that they can correspond to. green = nearly full, blue = just right purple/red = low

Note that the color is redundant with the number of bars displayed. The color adds no new information, except in being more quickly recognized at a glance.
I was going to ask a question sorta about the same thing. I know that blue is the normal operating range, but is it bad for the battery to be in the green most of the time? I have quite a few long slow stops that I can make and I pretty much see the battery in the green most of the time. I just hope it's not bad for the battery?

Celebrate the SOC bar changes. Also note that the range of bars is a small fraction of the overall capacity of your battery. Empty doesn't mean anything like "discharged" - same with full. The car won't let you use more than maybe half of the battery capacity... EVER.
