We have two Prii and mine is the basic package - my wife has pkg 2 - when I use the lock/unlock on my car the lights flash but no audible indication. My wifes car beeps when locking or unlocking. Is there any way to activate the audible lock/unlock on my car? <_<

Actually there doesn't seem to be anything wrong. There is an audible beep when locking or unlocking her car. If a door is open the car will not lock. She has the smart key option, mine does not.

Hi OP... The way it was explained to me, is the only way that you can have your Prius beep when you lock/unlock, is if it has the security package installed. Base model doesn't have the security package. Sucks to be us.
