You should check out this thread entitled "Touring Edition Tire Upgrade" and which I've linked for you here: http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=3...hl=tire+upgrade
lowspeed, I have an '08 Touring Prii and when my 195/55R16's wear out, I am planning on buying 205/55R16's to replace them. Both Goodyear and Michelin as well as others make this size of tire. I am leaning toward the Michelin Harmony tire for replacement on my '08 Touring Prii. So to answer your question, If you have a Touring model, yes, they will fit the Prius. I can't speak for the standard model with the 15 inch wheels. Slide

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(lowspeed @ Nov 7 2007, 08:25 PM) </div> lowspeed, I believe Pinto Girl has a standard Prii that she replaced the 15-inch wheels with 16-inch wheels without any problems. Standards have 15-inch wheels and Touring models have 16-inch wheels. You might PM her and see what see did. When upgrading to the 16-inch wheel, you will need to make sure the larger wheel size and rims you chose will fit in the wheel well without rubbing. Other PC members that have upgrade to larger wheels can give you better info on the do's and don'ts. Any comments from those that have gone to the large tire size ? Slide
Turns out these tires worked great. Here's a picture: http://tel3deal.com/pics/prius_winter_wheels_205_55_16.jpg Thanks for the feedback. --
