Prius on display at dealer

    Does anybody know how, at the dealers, the Prius on display can be switched on without the keys (SKS) but can't be put in drive mode. I tried mine in the Garage, but it just lets me know the key is missing ...

    They probably have a remote starter on it .

    Pulling the fuse or plug that would disable the brake pedal position sensor would probably do it.
