So I'm sitting here watching the Super Bowl. Figured I'd start a thread about the commercials. Just saw the Audi R8 commercial. That's a sweet looking ride. Liked the tie to The Godfather.
Sorry. Puppy Bowl IV. So far Oust, Bissell, Pedigree and Petsmart. The personal fouls are so much cuter. And I love the "bowl cam". They have a referee "bobo" and a bobo with a football and helmet. One terrier is just running the field with the squeaky football. Man this is the best one yet. I'll catch the Superbowl commercials on YouTube tomorrow.
If you hear any audio coming through the Phoenix stadium sound system like the referee's call and such, that is coming through our companies sound equipment from Biamp Systems Corporation.
Just saw the FedEx commercial with the carrier pigeons. I love that at the end, the guy silences the alarm indicating that it was his car.
The screaming squirell in the road got me, i thought it was going to be the one where the squirells crash the car on purpose. Nope. Gotchya! that was a good one.
having a 10 month old, the e-trade commercial the first one in the 3rd quarter was a hoot when he spits up at the end.
Okay. Watched them on YouTube. In the number two spot: the Bud commercial take off of Rocky with the horse and dalmation. My number one is the life water commercial with all the lizards doing the dance from Thriller. Really funny.
Super good time. But I just couldn't get over the fact that I was rooting for a New York team. Weird. As for the commercials, overall I was quite disappointed. Not as good as years past.
Please feel free to make fun of their Aussie Rules Football As for me I watched the Wellington 7s, where the crowds wear as little as possible and drink for 2 days (Borat mankinis were banned this year). NZ won, Samoa came second, Kenya were crowd favourites, Canada & US had a playoff for the lower-tier finishers. (PS 7s tournaments are 7 a side rugby with 7 min halves. Very fast very exciting. The next venue for the tour is San Diego in a week or two. Check it out)
Oh, dear. Am I going to have to dodge mostly naked colorfully painted rugby fans running in various traffic lanes? I need to know what areas to avoid.
I don't think patsparks was making fun of football. I could have said the same thing from up here in Washington State. I tried to get into the commercials, but they kept interrupting them with those guys running all over that lawn with grass stains all over their pants. I always get confused with football. How many 1st downs does it take to make a home run?
It was played here at 11PM that night so I tried to watch it. I didn't see much bowling though. BTW I couldn't give a hoot if you take the p*ss out of Aussie Rules or any other game. My point I guess is that it is a pretty parochial game mostly unknown outside the USA. Is it the culmination of the "World Series"? Please pull me up if you find me pushing Aussie Rules footy.
