One of you geeks please help me. I've been trying to order http://www.amazon.com/19-0-Historic-Championship-Englands-Unbeatable/dp/1600781500 all morning long, but no luck. I'd like it even if I have to "cheat" the system. I hope they have not suspended me on Amazon.
I love Dingo and Digby. That Digby has the waggiest tail. And Ramses is quite taken with Dingo. She looks a lot like him, except for her snoot, feet and voice. He has dainty feet and a longer snoot and his voice isn't as low as her. Hmmm. Come to think of it Candy (my parents' dog) has a pretty low voice to. I guess he just goes for the low husky, sultry voice. If Digby doesn't treat her right, he should know there's a superhero in the wings willing to give her a run. My Ramses is pretty fast too.
Thank you. Dingo and Digby are pretty attached to each other - it will soon be two years since we adopted Digby. They are a good pair - they have very different personalities that complement each other. Dingo is very curious about new dogs - at the dog park she will run straight at other dogs, veering off at the last sec - then will start barking at the other dog because (I think) she wants to chase it. Digby is her only reliable partner for the chasing game. Digby spends his time at the dog park trying to avoid the other dogs. He really doesn't like it very much. Digby does have a really waggy tail - I think this could be why they usually dock the tails on MinPins - so they don't hurt themselves or others with it. Dingo and Digby also have their own Flickr sets: Dingo - a photoset on Flickr Digby - a photoset on Flickr Does Ramses have a Flickr set? He looks like a Super dog.
Ramses and Candy play a high speed chasing game....in the house. We call it "making butter". They race around the dining table and in to the living room around the coffee table and than back again. Big giant circle. I think they enjoy the speed they get because of the traction on the carpet. I've also seen them race full speed in the yard in a giant circle between the top patio area and the lower garden area. Ramses has a lot of speed on him...much like Dingo. But his personality is more like Dingo...he's a cautious dog and doesn't make friends without a lot of familiarity. I enjoyed the movies...watched them all. I really have to take more pictures and video of Ramses and his girlfriends. My sister has a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix too. So he has...a harem!
Did you see the Fluffy cat video? My sister has 3 Australian Shepherds. However, one of them didn't get along very well with Dingo the first time they met, so we haven't seen them for awhile. Dingo has a tendency to stare at other dogs which is kinda rude in dog language. My sister's dog Macy did the same thing, so we had a small altercation.
Okay, so what's the symptom of amazon "not working"? . To their SERIOUS credit, my n00b-at-computers mom worked her way entirely through an Amazon purchase, *WITHOUT* having any kind of javascript crap turned on in her browser. It just worked, keeping a little bit of session state in a couple of short-lived cookies. High kudos to Amazon for designing a site that is browser-neutral and takes peoples' client-side security concerns into account. . _H*
Is it the duty of Priuschat members to hijack wierd threads? That is such a nice thing to do... I have a Greyhound, Moira, that is pretty fast but she doesn't chase her tail or "make butter." She is very diligent about greeting me with a wet nose when I get home; however, I noticed that she doesn't hear me come home in the Prius. She doesn't know I am home until I put the key in the door.
This is the best picture of Moira on this computer. I guess I should get a better picture for you since your name is "Dogfriend."
How old is Moira? I like dogs with grey faces. My GF almost named her MinPin "Moira" but decided to change her name to Penny Pinscher (get it?). Penny didn't quite make her 14th birthday. I still miss her. http://www.flickr.com/photos/16976782@N07/sets/72157602999000086/
Digby has a squirrel just like that one except it is now missing two legs and one ear. He has a thing about ears.
