I hope you paid cash so there's no paper trail they can use to hunt you down and seize your model at any future date. At some point they may wish to erase all evidence they had ever planned to produce the Volt. Can't have any loose ends like models in circulation.
LOL, you guys are having way too much fun with this. I'll have you know I haven't burned a drop of gas with this car yet...and I don't plan to!
Ouch, let's just shoot the messenger at point blank range! Everyone could have owned a Tucker too, if only... Good ideas get crushed before they even make it into mass production or soar with success, because of the public's appetite or lack of appetite. C'mon public, get hungry...we need Volti like we need Prii, and like we need every "thing" that will help sustain...good ideas need support!
I know what you're saying but here's a summary of what we've been saying for the last year: Good ideas don't reduce our dependency on foreign oil. Good ideas don't reduce emissions. Good ideas don't avoid peak oil. We need solutions that we can buy and use. So why do we make fun of the toy Volt? Because marketing doesn't reduce our dependency, reduce emissions, or avoid peak oil either. I prefer the Prius model: mass produce the car but make the toy difficult to find.
Too funny, I thought I was the only person that ordered one. I got mine early last week. I won't be taking it out of the plastic though, I figure it'll be worth something one day when no one has heard of the Chevy "Vapor" er, I mean "Volt".
ik think GM will pay you a lot of money to get there hands on the only model and then crush it so it never exsisted
GM has already contacted me for my Volt model back, and even though I offered to pay the $50,000 lease residual cost, they still want it back to crush it.... seems like a familiar story... EV1 anyone? GM could have had a 10 year lead on toyota. mitch
Just a couple of questions before I place my order: what's the horse power on that sucker? what's the fuel efficiency (and I don't want the EPA number but rather have your real driving MPG) Thanks, Gabe
Congratulations! You should be able to get 55 MPG with it. How? Just take it for a ride in your Prius!
