I had the day off work and decided it was a good day for a careful wash and hand wax...(Blitz wax by One Grand). Cleaned the mats with a spot-bot and armor-all on the tires. Just a complete going over the car... on a nice cool day under a shady tree. After working up a good sweat, stepping back to look at the 2006 Black Prius model 3... it looks good, hell, like new. 25K miles. Bank holidays are nice. Hope you all had a good three day weekend...
Time for a wax! It's 18 degrees outside. I'd better use some soft wax, or it's going to be difficult to buff. Tom
Managed a wash and dry in a DIY carwash today. It was up to 50 degrees, so this was my chance to do it. The roads are covered with melting snow and Lordknowswhatelse so it was not clean by the time I got it home. But at least i got some of the salt and junk off of it.
Yesterday I managed to wash both cars and did a little clay bar before I felt it was too sunny and warm.
