When we do finally come to a global accord in regards to global credit...

    there will be interesting facets to the agreements. One likely, is that we'll probably pay countries to keep their rainforests such that it'll be more profitable to keep them as opposed to chop them down. However, is China going to get carbon credits by curbing their population with the one child rule? Granted they have the largest population(soon to be surpassed by India), but at lest they are trying. And let's face it, the biggest carbon problem is too many people. Everything else stems from that one fact. On the one hand, it's not a very human rights friendly stance, but on the other hand, not maintaining a 1.2 billion population birth control will have incaculable effects on the environment and resources. What do you think?
