After some searching and much more thinking than the subject deserves, I stumbled across this article on detailing cars that are painted white. This may be of interest even to those without white cars, because the author uses white cars to illustrate issues that are present but not as easily seen in darker colors.
So, first question: Is the Prius Super White clear coated, or single stage? This will make a bit of a difference in how I approach detailing.
I'm pretty sure that the Super White is clear coated. When I had to have the rear bumper repainted, they itemized the clear coat on the invoice.
