I just got a 2008 Prius last friday as a company car. It is definitely an interesting car. I'm not too thrilled with the size of it, but I can deal with the lack of width, the problem is the seat travel. I'll ask my questions in another thread though.

I have already put over 500 miles on it. I'll be putting atleast another 600 miles next week on it. This car will definitely be driven a lot. Whether I continue to drive it or someone else in my department drives it, it will more than likely break the 100,000 mile mark in about 2 - 2.5 years.

I have filled up shortly after getting the car and the computer is saying I'm getting 47 MPG. I know its doing pretty good since my Neon has a 12.5 gallon tank and I normall refill at about 300 miles, while I am currently sitting with a quarter tank left and have 400 miles on this tank.

Remember not to trust the guess guage:

    2 pips = get gas
1 pip = get gas now
flashing last pip = get gas immediately

Good news, you'll never get 12.5 gal into this tank.

I figure I will be filling it up Monday since I will be leaving for Philly on tuesday morning on business. I do wish it had a bigger tank. A 600+ mile cruising range would be sweet. I figure I won't get much more than 47 or 48 because personally I'm not too concerned about gas mileage. I need to get to the jobs. My company has typically used GM's with a V6 in it, so anything that this prius gives will be a plus for them.
