hi guy, i am new here, but this is my second posts, i have a question. does the BT Tech Stiffening plate can help on the car on the Express way, specially when my car pass through the truck. my prius is like a shaking a whole car. so does the Stiffening plate really help? btw, i just change my wheel form 185/65/ r15 to 215/50/r17. it can help me alot when i am on the high speed. but i have to spend more for the consumption. so anymore recommendation? please let me know. thanks

It was a gut reaction to a sense of the uselessness of trying to determine before you buy the BT Brace whether it will do what you want. There have been many threads about whether the BT stiffening plate works. And there have been thousands of postings... And the result? It looks like opinion is mixed: * Many posters who have one installed love it, a limited few do not. * Most who have one consider it a near necessity. Some disagree . And there are some posters who are waiting to see "performance numbers" proving that it does something measurable... those numbers don't now exist, and probably never will. All said, buying the BT stiffening plate appears to be a gamble. As many folks already have, you may find it works for you. But then again, you may find it doesn't. It's all about how you feel about it, after you've tried it. Only then will you have your answer.
Re: can BT Tech stiffening plate really help on the wind hit beside the car? Here is my opinion: Decent tires are the first step. The OEM tires are crap. If you have a standard model Prius, the BT Stiffening Plate will help. If you have a touring model Prius, the suspension is already "stiffer", and the difference will not be as noticeable. Front-end alignment makes a big difference, too. It pays to get your alignment checked, especially if you are experiencing excessive drifting. YMMV

With all due respect Rokeby, your comment about half the people liking our product and the other half not is completely wrong. The people that have posted on this forum negatively about our BT Tech stiffening plate have been the VAST minority. How can you say half??? When you post information here please try to be factual.
There are 200 who like the plate, and 2 (including me) who think it does nothing other than look interesting. That's half. Just that the two halves are not equal (every try to cut a cupcake in half for two 5-year-olds?).
