I am brand new to this forum and my 2008 Prius! This is a great site.... I have a question regarding the GPS for the experts. I have looked in the manual but can't find the answer. What are those small red dots all over the screen? I have no clue? Have I overlooked something? Thanks! I picked up my Prius two weeks ago and I'm loving it! Javagrrl
I believe you are looking at "cookie crums" or something like. Later models nav systems have a feature that leaves a trail of dots showing where you have been. Since my car is a 2005 I don't have that feature, but, if you will look thru the setup menu you will probably find a way to turn it off. The menu system is not very intuitive.
