I have a couple questions on accesories. 1. I have seen a plug and play XM radio reciever for the Prius. Is this truley compatible with the OEM radio? 2. My Prius is pretty basic....I do want to put some options on it, but I am not sure how upgradeable it is. (i.e. can add a back up cam or other options that are avail). Thoughts, suggestions, thanks for you input. Oh yeah, the consuption meter is best when green I assume........hope I don't put it in a ditch watching the damn thing! Thanks again
1) There is one...which one did you see? The Priuschat Shop sells one here. 2) It's pretty upgradeable, but I'm not sure if the OEM back-up is easily or cheaply added...it requires a separate ECU and such.
Hi Tdoff1, welcome to PriusChat! :welcome: If you want a back up camera, it will be a lot easier to go with an after-market set up. A different wiring harness is used in models where the camera is standard. Most of the other common mods will fit any Prius (mud flaps, bumper guard, etc.)
