Hi folks, Well, we're now producing twice the smug (anyone see that episode of SouthPark?) as your average Prius owning household... I've just been offered some more work in Bath and North -East Somerset (UK) While Bath is only 20 miles from our house and doable as a round trip in my EV traipsing around the countryside around Bath for an entire day visiting various schools (and getting little recharge time) means that we've taken the plunge and picked up a Prius for me too. So we now have: Daphne, my partner Kate's Prius, which is a 56 plate TSpirit in Blue, and Velma, a red 53 plate T4, which I managed to get today in Slough (Just outside London) for an amazing £8,500! The wheels were quite badly corroded, but as I knew this was a warranty replacement I made it a condition of sale, along with four new tyres. Being a 2003 model it has the analogue MFD, which means I can make peace with my EV loving side and eventually convert it to PHEV status. Watch this space..... Velma was quite high mileage at 66,000 but she drove just fine, has a full service record and a good few years left on her warranty. She was also the cheapest ever Prius I've seen at an approved dealer. I even managed to talk the dealer into knocking £500 off and throwing in some new shoes for her! We'll pick up Velma on Thursday and then post some photos Nikki and Kate.
Hi Nikki and Kate, congratulations! That's a fantastic price. Be sure to take a picture of Velma and Daphne side by side. Seems a few PriusChatters are dualies. Here's what my wife and I drive.
