Just received my prius 2008, but i'm wondering on a couple of things that are missing. 1/ I don't have the wheel covers. I thought these are included with every prius for reduction of air resistance. 2/ I don't have the rear cargo cover. I know that #2 is probably an accessory, but i'm pretty sure that everyone gets #1. If they do, i need to find out how to get them from my dealer, since he just said "it's the base car, it doesn't have anything" thanks!
You have the 2008 Standard Prius without any Option Package. Thus you do not get: 1. Wheel Trim Rings 2. Tonneau Cover 3. Cruise Control 4. Heated Door Mirrors On the model years prior to 2008, these 4 items were included in the Standard Prius -- but those prior years' Standard Prius also cost more than your 2008 Standard Prius.
BTW, if you want the Wheel Trim Rings and/or the Tonneau Cover, your best bet is to check eBay periodically. For example, a Tonneau Cover may cost you $300 from the dealer, but you can frequently pick one up on eBay for $100 or less. Good luck.
actually, i sort of like the rims, the covers really hide a good looking alloy rim. I have the base prius, but i still like it. Especially the amount of stuff it holds!
