Hello SD Priuschatters. I'm headed to San Diego as we speak (sitting in the Ambassadors Club lounge in Chicago at the moment). I've got a course I have to attend tomorrow (Thursday the 24th) during the day, but have no plans at all for tonight or tomorrow night. I'll probably end up consuming fattening popcorn and cokes at Batman: Dark Knight if I find nothing else to do. Anyway, I'm staying on Coronado Is. near my meeting. I'd love to, but I'll be at ComicCon. I'll be using the trolley instead of the Prius as round trip is $5 vs $25 (and up) for parking.
I'm local. Is Comic Con this weekend? In that case, I think I so don't want to meet at Horton Plaza. (Although I'm sure they're showing Batman, as are Fashion Valley, Mission Valley and just about any other theaterplex.) But anyone can buy me dinner at the Coronado Hotel. If you want to meet, give me a PM and I'll shoot you back my phone number. If you want to venture off the island, there are several nice restaurants. Anthony's downtown on the bay for seafood and a really nice view. Try to time it for before sunset. For Italian there's John Tarantino's. (Or my Mother. If you've got the time, I might be able to arrange a dinner at my parents' house. You can view the garden, their new solar panels and we can talk Prius. They're about 15-20 min. by freeway from Coronado.) If you've got some time and are inclined to that sort of thing, the Star of India is right next to Anthony's and they do tours. There's also a submarine and some other ship. It's going to be both hot and humid this weekend. Sorry about that.
If ya'll let me know what you're doin, I would be interested in a get together. I'm free any night except tomorrow(going up to Meguiars Open Garage in Irvine), and can be free Saturday if i know by tomorrow
Yup, he's still doing it. My friend who owns a detailing business in my area is a Meguiars product user and he got me hooked on their stuff and their online forum. Hes probably the youngest person that can detail cars with the best of em... So anything going on tonight? Just washed,clayed, and waxed the Pri so its ready to go out for a night on the town hahaha i swear white is blinding when clean and shiny.
Nope. Not unless you want to detail my black Prius. I've been avoiding it due to bad back. I expect they won't get in, settled and online until a bit late.

It's Coronado. You're paying for being across the street from the Hotel Del. Evan and I will be at Anthony's about 5:30 for dinner. Then maybe some sight seeing. Be there or be L 7.

I'm not so sure about that. I shared a room with Evan last year at Hybridfest and there's some things I'm still trying to disassociate with his screen name. CORONADO?! I thought he said Colorado. My bad.
