I'm Jacqui and I live in Louisville, Kentucky. My husband, Keith, and I just got our 2008 Prius yesterday (August 4th). We got onto the waiting list the first week of June and picked it up last night. We are thrilled!!! Our Prius is silver with the grey interior. We got package #3 with Sirius radio (since we were already subscribers). I'm just so excited that I found this board!!!!
I think I'm just overwhelmed by how amazing this car is! We're pretty middle class... I mean, we drove a Ford Escape before this and a Ford Focus before that. We're not really "upper class" folks, and for us, this car is just a dream! A touch screen in the car??? Our computer doesn't even do that (and it's an iMac)! All of the bells and whistles! I feel spoiled just sitting in this car! And I feel like our model is pretty darn basic compared with what they CAN come with! Is this feeling normal? Feeling actually spoiled by having this car????
I totally agree about being spoiled with this car. Just wait until drive 500+ miles on a tank of gas before you HAVE to fill up. It's amazing. I find any excuse to go for a drive. It's just too much fun.

Congratulations on your purchase! I am in envy right now. It has been tempting to make the plunge but am waiting until I see the unveiling of the Gen III. Even then, I may hold out for a slightly used Gen II. Post a pic!
