Here in Ballamer, it costs ~$100 just to repair/replace one roughly 3 ft. square section of existing simple, good old fashioned, concrete sidewalk. In virtually all jurisdictions, homeowners don't even own the sidewalk, although they are responsible for snow removal, etc. So what, the city is going to do the installation? I don't think so. What a cockamamy idea. What in the world are the folks at IBM thinking?
