06 or 08 Prius ? Its time to make up my mind on a Prius and would like some opinions. 1. 06 option #2 (white).42, 000 miles $14,865 ,docfee 95.50 plus tax . I have been dealing over the internet/phone and the starting price was 16,988 on there website. We have yet to talk trade in so there maybe more wiggle room in price. I bought a Rav from this dealer 3 years ago. 2. 08 option #2 31, 000 miles (blackw/ leather seats) 17, 595 after trade & no money down.
get the 08 (i might be wrong its 3 am i dont feel like checking this before posting!) the 2008 should have standard vsc ( i think that was an option in 06), the tire pressure monitoring system, and the side and rear air bags, i think that was optional in the 06 too apologies if i am wrong other then that the 08 and the 06 are virtually identical and you should get whatever is cheaper
okay im awake. get the 08 on the plus side the 06 will have the 08 airbags and a cd changer, it won't have vehicle stability control, which the 2008 has. so on that basis, you really should go for the 2008. another reason to get teh 2008 is it has less tehn 36000 miles, so you and the rest of prius chat can argue back and forth on getting the prius chat extended warranty deal for 1000 something
according to this thread http://priuschat.com/forums/prius-m...tion-codes-package-contents-color-combos.html it does not look like you will get all the airbags in 2006 package 2 so thats probably another reason you should skip it if you want a 2006, get a higher package
