Don't get me started. Well, OK, 1 word....... Lemmings..... There it's out of my system, I feel better now!
I still haven't finished all the books from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy to find out what I should believe in
Well, you know the answer to the great question of Life, The Universe, and Everything, so that should be enough, shouldn't it?
The Secular Progressives and the Liberal MSM's war on religion seems to be winning. But in the end God will have the last word and it will be a word of truth. Unfortunately "veritas odium parit." :rapture: Their not they just gotta have something to rant and whine about . . . Wildkow p.s. use of the "rapture" smiley above in no way endorses, supports or conveys personal belief in said event, because it just ain’t in the Bible brother. :nono:
End of what? The Earth? Time? Whatever the "end" is, it's a long way off, and by the time we get there we'll have long since rendered what's left of any gods impotent and speechless.
It's when there's a war in Israel between america and europe and Russia and China; and Jesus flies down from the clouds and reveals that Obama is actually Satan; and Jesus helps defeats the evil doers in the name of America, I mean christianity, I mean himself, I mean good; and then he collects all the souls of the good doers like widkow and everyone who has voted for Bush and McCain and not jerked off in Palin's image; and then he takes himself and these souls(in a sturdy hefty bag) to the top of the clouds; and they party for eternity. That end. It's not like the crazy Islam story where you end up with 69 virgins.
I can't believe this, Kow, but you are absolutely correct. Allah WILL have the last word and it will be the word of truth. THEN these Christian infidels will be sorry they spent their lives worshiping the wrong god!
Wait a minute? Aren't we talking about Zeus? I was expecting the smiting to be in the form of thunderbolts. And no..it's not Thor because I know it's Zeus.
No, that is an old belief which we know is no longer true. Zues doesn't smite people with thunderbolts, he uses Lightning bolts. The thunder is to let people in the area know someone has been justly smited and to clean up their act! Wildkow, God has nothing to do with religion. Religion is a tool used to control people and gain power. God is a spiritual thing, and it is on a very personal level.
Looking at the chart, Texas has the highest gain in Catholics while Louisiana has next to highest loss (only after ... Montana). When you select "Other Christians", the picture is reversed. Louisiana has the highest gain while Texas has the highest loss. This says many Texans are abandoning "other christian" sects to become Catholics while many Louisianans are doing just the opposite. How interesting. I wonder if Katrina had anything to do with that. It was, after all, an act of God...
I don't think you can infer that from the statistics. It could also be that Texas has a high immigration rate from Latin American countries, which tend to have a large percentage of Catholics. This would be a change of demographics, not attitude or affiliation. Tom
