I read in the owner's manual that installing a roof rack may interefere with the navigation system (the GPS readings, specfically). Does anyone have any experience with this? We love the nav system, but need to install a roof rack to carry bikes and the occasional surfboard.
I have a Thule roof rack w/ a ski rack. I've used it a few times carrying skis and/or snowboards with no GPS problems. I would doubt that carrying bikes or a surfboard would be any different.
