First post, when I receive a call w/bluetooth in my 2005 Prius PKG #6 the sound comes through my speakers. Usually that's great but if I have people in the car and I only want to talk on the handset, is there a quick way to switch it? I know you could press several buttons on handset to turn bluetooth off but that seems impractical and dangerous, thanks.
either turn it off.. or.. answer and transfer. On my Motorola V551 you press menu and " send to handset "
OK, I have the Motorola V551 and I'm not aware of the Menu>send to handset option. I thought it was Menu>bluetooth>off or something similar.
I don't think this can be done from the MFD. I believe the car kit will always answer if it is paired with a handset. However, most handsets have a simple way of disconnecting a headset (or car kit) during a call. Our Treo has a button on the active call display to do so. No caller ID info is passed to the MFD.
when in call, the motorolla V551 menu is dedicated to call features. If you are on your phone and you get in your car while bluetooth is enables, it will automatically switch to the car. If you want to pull the conversation out of the car phone and keep it to the headset, you go to the center menu button and press "use handset"
