Gen III Pics From the Port of Long Beach

    I took a trip down to the Port of Long Beach today and took some pics of the 2010's.

    The Gen III is absolutely stunning in person. I really liked the Barcelona Red. It looked so cool, that I'm thinking about purchasing it over Blue Ribbon Metallic. The Barcelona Red definitely looks better on the Gen III compared to the Gen II.

    Black is also better in person, especially with the 17" wheels. I thought the Classic Silver was a Gen II at first glance. It's nice, but kind of dull. It just doesn't "pop" like the others.

    Winter Gray was better than I though it would be. Like the Black, the Winter Gray looked great with the 17's.

    Really wish I would've found a Blizzard Pearl or Sandy Beach Metallic. Overall, the exterior is awesome, and you can't go wrong with any color.

    That's great, thanks for the pix.

    I just saw the white at Santa Monica Toyota. They have one sitting right by the office, which nobody was checking out but me.

    It was exciting to see, to sit inside. Great use of space with the under dash compartment, nice sliding arm rest, cool blue lit logo on the runner board. I found the blue shading in the Toyota a little cheap looking and the edging on the doors will take some getting used to. I wasn't wildly impressed with the Blizzard White, which seems to have a slight blueish undercoat, but maybe because it's a cloudy day it wasn't the best light to see it in.

    I've been told they have 15-20 Prii coming in maybe as soon as next week, though not for sale just yet, as we know.

    It's being shipped on the cargo vessel named "Continental Highway".

    Nice shot of the Blizzard. Are you all sure that end car in a couple of port pics wasn't Blizzard, or was it Classic Silver? Either way, doesn't appear to be "mine" as it didn't have the solar roof ;)

    The ones at the port were definitely Classic Silver. I was trying to find a Blizzard but they weren't in that specific area. I'm sure your Blizzard with solar roof was hiding somewhere else in the port.

    A production car with 51/48 mpg !
    It has broken the "50" mark!!!! What would our
    parents' generation think - a car with over 50mpg? Impossible? :D

    Checked out the Blizzard Pearl today at my dealer and it is incredible. Admittedly I have always liked white cars but this is one of the nicest I have ever seen.
