For the longest time, I've been wondering who is funding this "Bell the Hybrid" nonsense and had noticed Lotus Engineering is always around: To boldly go... Apparently Lotus believes this is a business opportunity ... but it only exists if H.R. 734 and S. 841 are passed. If those bills are defeated, the Lotus business model evaporates. Given there is no evidence of a documented safety feature, it is as if "Ice Cream" truck bells were suddenly legislated and Lotus has the patent for the bells. Nonsense, pure and utter nonsense. Lotus have made some fantastic cars over the years, but they've lost my respect if they're going to do this. I can't stand ice cream trucks.
