    Gen 2 is likely, but with time 3 might take over if Toyota really sells 1 million in it's first year! (Read that was their plan somewhere on here.)

    Really wanted to purchase a Gen II about a year ago, but I'm glad I waited for the 2010.

    Other than Rick, is there anyone that has owned all three?

    I had an '03 gen1, an '05 gen2, an '06 gen2, and a new one on order!

    I bought most of these used though.

    Our first was a used, 2003 Prius bought via Ebay in 2005 to replace a crashed Camry. Our second was a new 2010 Prius, which we used replaced a 2001 Echo. We bothhave Prius.

    my first prius is my current car, a gen 1 2002, to be replaced by a gen II skipping 2010 if a IV sr ever gets to virginia. So i have established a pattern that indicates i will be buying a gen 5 in 2018.

    John1701a has also had all three, but not at once.
