i won't get my hopes up, but lets hope you get a reasonable # of responses to this. i can't say for certain that i'd buy a 2010 prius if i could transfer the stickers, but not being able to transfer them makes the 2010 prius a non-starter (i've got a 2006 and a 2007, both with stickers and they are indispensable to us...) if you are going to lobby them for transfer you should lobby them for an extension as well

Edit: In fact, if I were NOT able to set my own commute hours, I'd vote just the opposite otherwise. No, there's NO hope of HOV stickers returning for hybrids. The legislative history shows the original intent was to encourage hybrids. That's done. Now ... PHEV's ?? There IS good motivation to allow PHEV's into the car pool lane ... as it would encourage buyers that would otherwise be on the fence.
CA only, or any state w/ HOV sticker equivalent? I have AZ HOV plates that I transferred from my 2004 to my 2010.
