Forgive me I had to post this.. a YouTube clip that makes you feel better for seeing it... you gotta watch all the way to the bride's entrance. If I had kids I'd wish for them to be this happy. regards Froley [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-94JhLEiN0]YouTube - JK Wedding Entrance Dance[/ame]
I'm sure some purests will declair this an insult to "the institution" and the sacredness of the service...but I think it's awesome. Gotta wonder if the various participants aren't part of an acting guild or dance troup or something, I just don't think I could get 5 of my male friends to do that! Also noticed the poor wedding photographer...bet that dude had NO Idea what he'd gotten into or how the heck to shoot that thing!
I was going to post a link to the video but found this thread already existed. This is by far the most unique wedding procession I've ever seen. I think this thread would get a few more views if it were retitled or had the words "best wedding procession" added to it. Maybe this is the next new meme for a little bit?
We tend to not take things too serious up here in MN. Here's a link to the story KSTP TV - Minneapolis and St. Paul - St. Paul Couple's Wedding Dance Becomes YouTube Sensation
Your welcome for the posting my pleasure-- and thanks for the news story about the video. I am terrible at titles--good thing I'm not the headline guy at the NY Times. I think the thing that really strikes me is how truly happy the couple must be getting married and how happy their friends are for them. It's good to see we can still dance because we are happy. regards Froley
It's amazing to see the hit count rise. It was at ~800K on Thursday, 1.7 million on Friday and 4.7 million earlier this afternoon. Now, it's over 5.2 million probably because it's been making the news.
