I got my V from Conicelli Toyota in Conshohocken, PA. From ordering to delivery, it was the best new car buying experience I have had. They got the car when they said they would, although other dealers told me that they gave me a fast delivery date just to get a deposit. There were port added options I didn't ask for, and they didn't even try to charge me for them. They gave me fair value on my trade. There was no pressure to spend extra on warrenties, pre-paid maintenence or interior protection nonsense. Everyone who works there is pleasent to talk to. Recommended to anyone looking for a Toyota in SE PA.
+1 for Dianne. After waiting a few weeks she was able to find me the Blizzard IV with Solar that I was after. No hassle on the purchase and in and out in about an hour. Wish they were all like this!
Just wanted to put a good word in for Liberty Toyota in Colorado Springs. I found them after talking with a lot of dealers in the Denver area who seemed as sleazy as could be. But Jen the Internet Manager at Liberty was a breath of fresh air - answered my questions directly and honestly (I knew many of the answers already from Prius Chat), and delivered what she promised. The finance guy was a bit long-winded trying to sell warranties but was always pleasant and not too pushy so I have no complaints about him. My only quibbles were that they were a little disorganized on the delivery paperwork (confused my car with another car that was almost identical) and were sometimes slow to answer emails or return phone calls, typically needing 2-3 days to get back to me. But overall a good sales experience and I would definitely go there again.
This is good to know. I am thinking about using them since they can get me the model I want much sooner than in my region. That is unless we decide to go for the IV. The dealership by where I work has an A+ rating on the BBB page. I could not find one for the Conicelli dealership. I have complaints about the dealership I used for my last two cars that I posted in the dealers section. They got an F rating by the BBB.
Dealer appreciation - West Palm Bch, FL Royal Palm Toyota treated me very well, gave me a fair price (not a dime over MSRP and no dealer fees) and if it wasn't for waiting for the CARS program would have delivered very quickly.. Add to that they offer a LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY for free and you just can't go wrong. Another little detail I've heard from buyers at other dealers is that the carpet mats are Black no matter what car you buy. This is not true, Toyota makes them in dark gray and misty gray as well as black but those are usually special order items. They special ordered matching gray Original Toyota Prius mats for me, at a price below the aftermarket mats I've seen advertised. My CARS transaction went very smoothly, they called me as soon as the program was available, gave me $200 in scrap value for my old van, and I was out te door in about 2 hours. Ask for Joe Memoly, the fleet manager or Nick Grosso the internet sales manager. They'll treat you right.
shout out for beaman toyota nashville. 1 day wait. free remote start. micah c. did a great job for me.
I would like to say a very big thank you to Ann at Bentleys, Warrington. I test drove the Gen III Prius on Friday and in my many many years of buying cars that is the best test drive I had ever had! 50 minutes just driving the car, anywhere I wanted, so I could take it on roads I knew and fairly judge the car rather than thinking about the route. Doing the deal back at the dealership was equally straightforward, no pushing this and that, she accepted it went I said 'No Thank You' and moved on to the parts of the deal that were important to me. Confident that the rest of process will be equally hassle-free, just got to wait until the car turns up now! Plus, I get a full 24 hour test drive, next week, so I can really show the family what the Gen III is all about, stretch its legs down the motorway, and see what its like at night. So far, so great. Thanks Ann! Thanks Bentleys!
I bought mine from Grand Blanc Motorcars (Grand Blanc, Michigan) and the salesman was Jim Ray. No tricks, nothing pushed on me, just an easy straight forward transaction. MSRP, no add ons and I asked them to throw in one set of carpeted floor mats and I bought the all weather set for winter and they did with no questions asked. I would definetely recommend them from the sales experience I had.
any prius buyers from columbus/central OH - feedback on dealers?. btw, doe anyone know the invoice prices on 2010 prius any trim? i see a lot of people paying MSRP and not lower
Bought GenIII Prius II from earl Stewart Toyota in North Palm Beach. Most discussion by email. Worked with Jason Stewart and Jon Gormaly. Both very professional. Got the car as requested, no add-on. Paid MSRP, No dealer or other fees. Not much push for additional warranty from Finance. Without asking, Gave $150 Scrape Value for CARS program. Requsted Blu-logic($300) and Tint($130) to be done by dealer. Very professional, would definately recommend. Bindesh Shah
I had the same good experience with Earl Stewart of North Palm Beach, Florida a couple of weeks ago with the addition that the car I wanted came in a week early and we received what we expected for our trade-in. One interesting tidbit that I don't remember if it has been mentioned on this Board is that all of the dealership's sales staff own their own Priuses (but not necessarily the 2010s). While that may not make them experts, it certainly eliminates the blithering that some of you have experienced with less informed sales people.
another +1 to dianne here. She's been really patient in working with me even though I've been visibly anxious to get my hands on the car. I just got the VIN and the docs are in the mail so I know it's almost here. She was also able to get the options I wanted, did not load the car with unwanted stuff, and worked with me in sharing the cost for shipping here to Texas.
Some dealers are really good, and they should be recognized. I bought my Prius from Ken at Novato Toyota, in the north SF bay area. I wanted a 2010 Trim III without any accessaries. We agreed to a price and he told me that he would have one in the next shipment that meets my specs. A couple of days later he called me to tell me that he found a Prius that meets my specs, except it has carpets (MSRP $200). He agreed to give it to me at invoice price of $127. When I got the car it happened to have the convenience package, which also included cargo net and emergency kit. Since it was something I had not asked for, he gave those items to me at no additioan cost to me. Overall, I paid several hundred dollars below MSRP for the car and was very happy with the total experience at the dealership. I believe the dealer was honest and he kept his word even though he could have gotten much higher price because of the popularity of C$C rebate. Thanks Ken.
Hi Jon! Want me to post some pics of your car here? On the transport ... after I clean it up and get 'er ready? Hey it was raining in TX when Laurie got hers... I hope your weather's better now.
Yes please! I would love to show and pass them around to my friends and stuff! Thanks for getting everything in today despite all the CARS stuff going on!
I just got my package II from ryan at Allegheny Toyota in Franklin pa. they were great, got just what I wanted, no hassles, no upselling on options or warranties. they had to trade to get the package and color I wanted, and did without adding any fees (like another dealer tried to do). they also gave me a $500 discount with no hidden doc fees, so the price was just what I was looking for as well. my sister purchased hers there in early june, straight msrp, with a fantastic value on her 08 prius trade-in. best dealer in NW pa IMHO
Was looking for your final report on how it went with Koons Toyota in Vienna, Virginia. How did it go? Anyone else dealt with them?
