What would be the best reasonably priced repair manual? I do own a Bentley for my BMW and they are head and shoulders over anything else out there. However, I don't have any experience with PDF and computer based ones. Any good advice? Thanks
If you are choosing between Bentley and any other paper manual produced by a third party, Bentley would prevail. However if you wish to perform more complex repairs, nothing can compare with the official Toyota repair manual documentation which runs 4,000+ pages. See techinfo.toyota.com which is a subscription website.
How about some FREE documentation? 2004-2005: Index of /Documents_2004/ 2006-2009: Index of /Documents_2006/ JeffD
The bentley book covers 2004-2008. Anyone know if it applies to 2009 as well? Doubt that there has been much change between the 2008 to 2009 right?
The Italian Prius guru (The Tramp) that put up these directories hasn't done it YET. But there is an "RAR" archive of a 2010 owners manual at Manuale d'uso USA . JeffD
The 2006 manual referenced should still be accurate for the 2009 but not for a 2010 which is significantly different than the earlier models. JeffD
I bought it and it is awesome for $44. I needed the pictures as well as the shop manual PDFs posted above in the Italian forum. All good!
Today I submitted the following at bentleypublishers: Feedback, General Subject: 2010 Prius Message: I see your 04-08 Prius book, and I would be confident using it on a 09 as well, but the 2010 is a new generation with many changes. When might one expect a re-write to cover 2010 changes? Your book is highly regarded at priuschat.com, but I would greatly prefer one that addressed the '10. Thanks, Glen
