Re: Silver, BC, 9/1/03, Carson CA Bobby, you are also open to package 9 in silver, sand, blue, or tideland according to my notes. You did the request on Sept 1 and are #12 in line for silver, but the line's a bit shorter for the other three colors..and you have to bear in mind that lots of people ahead of you are also open to other colors so your place in line's not set in stone. :> If they were giving me 20, 30 cars at a time, we'd have this whacked out in no time, but there are just not enough cars as you all know! I cannot see the light at the end of this tunnel most days.

I know, you totally caught me off guard! I usually am the one who catches everyone off guard because when one's close to the top, they will hear from me more to narrow down choices just in case... and I am usually the one who has to interrupt their conversation about what they will be OK with and say "Ummmm. Hey, you... shhhhh.. this is THE CALL" (but not quite the right color, close enough though!) LOL It's too fun to make it... it's my most favorite thing to do -- make the call. When I got the call I felt like I'd won the lottery. I told my husband I had really great news. He said "you won the lottery". and I said "just as good". and he said "you got the call. "Yessssss". I've never been more excited. I hope "the call" at least makes up a little for all the heartache and trouble for both you and Dianne but especially for Dianne. jaa
Awww... Julie! You are so sweet. It was great to see you both again. I'll have to take a side trip to drop by and see the new place in MH (painted yet?) when I take one of my late night drives up to Los Gatos to see my mom and brother... my son riding shotgun in my car with me... watching some movie that I can only listen to! That would be fun! Then you could meet Thomas (my son) too!!
This has been a lot harder on Dianne than on me. Getting "the call" was a BLAST, but I'll bet that getting "The Car" is even more fun

I picked up my car yesterday from the fast, efficient and friendly people at Carson Toyota in lovely, warm Southern California. This is the BEST!
