It's a great article, and I'd love to see the US get off of its oilcan and do the same. However, there is one paragraph in the article that is still a barrier, even to launching a simialr campaign now: The environmentalists need to quit blocking developing domestic sources. ANWR, the gulf coast, and other "special" sites NEED to be developed if the US were to follow the Brazillian model.
