When you buy class 1 hitch, 1 1/4 " grade 5 bolts comes with it. Hitch is about 18 to 19 lbs. With 2 " ball; weight is about 21 lbs.
Don't go cheap?...... As far as the hitch, nothing less than grade 5 bolts; grade 8 would be great!!!

Toyota does not recommend trailer towing; this is true. Toyota did no say, " Do not tow"; big difference!! bwilson4web and others have proved it...
