3 days ago I went to open car ( 2008 gen II ) with keyfob - got red led on fob when pressing door open but no indicator lights flash or door servo...
Was really annoyed to find almost 2 pints of water in the 12 battery bay when I went to remove the faulty original battery ie clear liquid level...
