Go with the standard. I don't know a good "new" price, because I got mine as a 1-year-old with low miles/used.

Leaving your temperature at 68° is the cause for the ICE turning on. The FAQ discusses this in pretty good detail. Am I wrong?
I don't think the PIP has a heat pump.
