my system also came with AR 1.53 (NOT 1.41)i think you can update to latest versions such as 1.51, 1.53 i tried and no problem.
just wanna know, when you say backup, means just copy the both files and folders under those 2 drives (NAND FLASH, StaticStore) by using CMCD.exe...
