First time I've tried to recharge the A/C on a car before. I'm going to try after I get a few answers from you guys. Nothing I have shows where to connect the recharge kit (from Walmart) to the low pressure side of the A/C system. I did find one tube with a cap with an H (assuming that is the high pressure side) and one side with a cap with an L (assuming that is the low pressure side..) But I'm not sure these are for the A/C system. Can someone email me a photo or scan of the diagram of the engine compartment showing where the A/C spot is to connect the A/C recharge kit to? Thanks in advance. lnewcomb @ gmail. com Sincerely, Larry Newcomb Jacksonville, FL
L is for the low-pressure side of the AC system, so you've found the correct port. Another way to confirm that is to run the AC compressor. The L side should get cold and usually you can see water condensation form on the line, while the H side should get hot.
