01 need help please will not start hv batt going

    i have 01 prius it will notrun start turns off cann keep on will gas spary for some time no injector pules i belive i figured it out but my hv battery is very low and now it dose not want to turn the engin to start it it there a way to chage the system i was thinking about pulling it with key swich in the on and try to chage it useing the brake i dont know what to do on the consumption i get blue bars all the way up in 5 mins i am not shure if i and regenerating or consuming wen i pull it i am down to the last bar on hv batt blue i have a code 3125 that i can not fine out what it means the last time i found the cir relay then i made it run for like 30secs then it turnd off now the hv battery dose not have the power to turn on the car i do not have the battery for the car either i have been use a batt for my other car dose this make any diffence it is a good size batt that i am use so i can at lest see if i can make it work i really need help with this any one have any ideas i would not mind some one writeing to me if they have time i use yahoo messager rrevma hope some one know somethign about this please

    code 3125 is Converter & Inverter malfunction, that said there is 82 sub codes for it also and with out them hard to identify the problem. Sound like dealer time to me.

    i go this code off of a obd2 scaner if there a diffent kind of scaner that will give you sub code it came up at p 3125 it had a note saying it had to do with the fule mixture axuillary i thin k the battery is low due to sitting and some on try to starte it over and over i fund there is no injector pule and i do not think the fule pump is work i have gotten it on for a few sec when there is blue line in the consumption screen am i consuming or re chargeing the the hv batt

    only the Toyota Hand Held Tester will reveal the sub codes. Last I heard was the Inverter assy was $3700 Don't keep trying to get it going with out finding out what the rest of the codes are as there are only a very few chargers available in NA to recharge the battery. If you get the battery so low that it won't allow MG1 to crank the ICE your asking for big expense to get the thing going even if you get the codes and fix it. Only people that will charge the battery are the Toyota dealers. And they won't do it for free. They pay shipping on the charger to get it to their shop and will have a tech do the job of charging it up and if you need other pieces to get it going your also going to have to purchase them as well.

    Don't do anything else with it yourself. Get it to a dealer or you're screwed.

    Designed just for the Classic Prius. :) Since multiple ECUs will respond at the same time, many of the commercial OBDII scanners can get confused, or not report the correct errors...

    I've never been able to see DTC sub-codes on my Miniscanner, only the main "P" codes, so I think Frank is right that only the THHT has this functionality.. I think the Miniscanner only retrieves the main codes like any other OBD-II scanner on the market; it's real benefit is that when not in DTC mode, it can query many hybrid-related items that other OBD-II scanners cannot..

    C4's correct the MiniScanner only reads the P codes. If you read thru the manual you will see where Graham say's it only reads the main P codes and not the sub's. It's on page 46-47
