2004 Prius with roughly 157,000 miles. Despite my decision to persevere in the situation detailed in my post, I did regular maintenance on this vehicle and cared for it. I did attempt to extend the life of the battery with the Prolong Battery Reconditioning package, which I have removed from the vehicle. It definitely has a lot of character.
