We got our Barcelona Red, Package 8 last Tuesday. Your photo is too high of resolution. That's why only the top shows. Each member account is limited to how much storage space for uploading photos and I think you used it all up for this one. Or you have a slow connection and the upload timed out part way through. Try resizing the photo to say 640x480 and make sure the dpi is set to 72.
Doesn't look much different then the salsa red to me. Maybe it's just the picture though. I like it no matter what. Britt
So now that you own the car and now that you've posted the pictures you know what they look like in comparison to the real thing. Knowing what you know... try to look at your own pictures like you've never seen them before... can you tell me if they look like the real thing? If not, in what way? In other words, if someone were looking at these pictures having never seen the real thing, would they be getting a real representation of reality?
I just saw a Barcelona Red in person today. I can say that as good as these pictures are, it looks nicer in reality. One thing you can't really tell from the photos is the answer to "does it look sporty or cheesy?" It is definitely sporty. If you like red cars, you'll love this one. It's a very different color from the Salsa Red, which is much darker.

Saw one on the lot at thousand oaks toyota yesterday... Huge improvement over the salsa red, very vibrant color, would look good with tinted windows.
Salsa red is for people who really don't like red, cause its maroon! Not that its ugly, its just not red! I have no idea why they used the work "red" in their discription?....its very misleading,
From the pictures it looks a little flat, not saying that is good or bad... I am not sure what I will say if this color comes in and is offered to me over my preferenced colors. <hmmmm>
Today's weather was party cloudy so I left the car out on the driveway and tried to grab some pics when the sun wasn't hiding. That's also the afternoon sun. The pics make the car look a little darker than it is IRL. Sorry! I tried! It just looks different colors of red depending on the lighting. IMHO, the red is sporty without making the Prius look like a wanna-be sports car. Now that would be cheesy. It's not flat. I drove a 94 Honda in grad school and that had a red flat color. When we heard it was red (we told our dealer any of 3 colors) I was a little concerned since I know DH (yes I am a "she") is a little conservative with colors. I also didn't want it to be too red since I didn't want people to think he was having a way too early mid-life crisis. But our dealer showed us someone else's Barcelona Red Prius in bright morning sunlight and it was love at first sight. That sighting also blew away the biggest concern I had. DH and I are both Berkeley grads. How could I ever put a Cal Alumni license plate holder on a red car? Let's say I got over it when I saw it. We'll just drive the other car when we head up there. hope this helps!
