    Hi all,

I have a 2008 with 255648 miles on it. Yesterday I went out to start the car to get the ice off of it and to warm it up. The heater worked fine then, but an hour later, it stopped working completely. The display works but when I try to change the vents, it shuts off. It won't let me change from floor heating to vent/floor. Could it be the heater blower or something worse. Iso it an easy fix we could do ourselves?

    Thanks for any help.

if the fan isn't blowing, it is likely the fan/pc board combo. but if the vent direction won't change as well, it could be in the mfd.

If the fan is just not blowing, try changing that out first.

If it's blowing intermittent on and off, then it would also be beneficial to replace the fan controller, which is the box the fan plugs into.
