I've had Sparky since 3/8/04 so I'm a couple days early, but here's the rundown... 32,000 miles travelled 648 gallons of gas used $1,225.00 gas purchased Lifetime MPG: 50.0 MPG Range: 39.0 - 58.8 Savings over previous car (Dodge Neon averaged 27.8 mpg) 500 gallons saved $950 saved Damage: Hit wild dog at 70 mph on interstate, $2,500 repairs. Recalls performed: SSC40D. Recalls outstanding: Brake light switch. Warranty work: None. Nada. Zilch. Not one single defect with this vehicle. Mods: EV button. Whines: No light under hood. No lights for hazard, ODO & radio buttons. Fog lights are useless and can’t turn on without head lights. Needs AC fan speed switch on steering wheel. Shines: Peace and serenity at a stop light with no engine vibes or noise. No tranny up or down shift lurches. Low emission, less money to oil barons. Fun and games in trying to get the best mpg possible. Smart key entry – I love getting people to try to open the locked door, then show my empty hands, walk up, say abbra cadabra, and open it. Actually, there are too many to mention, this is by far the most awesome vehicle I have ever owned. My MPG graphs for the year are posted below...
