3 years and 3 months later, and my PiP has hit 100,000 miles ! Not much to report because it's been absolutely trouble free. Oil changes every 10k, air filters , a transmission fluid change and a new set of tires. That's it. My displayed EV range with full charge is 10 miles. I average about 13% EV per tank. Can't say if there has been any battery capacity degradation. My EV range used to display higher, but my driving habits have changed somewhat. I don't take advantage of the EV range for all of my short local driving as much as I once did. Some of that's now enjoyed in an '05 Boxster I fell for a couple years ago. The PiP is a keeper, but I plan on replacing our Gen II Prius (150K) with maybe? the new VOLT next year. Toyota, please show me the Gen IV PiP !!!!!!!!
Bad news: you're now out of warranty in GA Good news: Toyota makes extremely reliable electric drive vehicles
Thanks for posting! I assume you are one of the leaders on here. I have about 54k and thought I was putting a lot of miles on.
