Hi everyone. I've noticed my screen has reset twice in the last week. It wasn't a reboot while driving but when I turn car on, the map settings (POI, map info, etc.) had all reset. I purchased my car in Sep 2017 and have never updated software for the head unit. Is there an update available? When I check on Toyota's site it says no, but I've read conflicting reports in other threads here. I'd like to be able to just load a USB and do myself without bringing into dealer. Thank you in advance!!
See: Information screen reset | PriusChat My 2017 Prime Advanced exhibited this problem a few times but it has not occurred since the dealer installed the update described in Elektroingenieur's January 2018 post referenced above. My dealership's service department had no problem finding and installing the referenced update. This was done in August 2018. I do not think this is something you can do on your own.
